18 KIDS KILLED IN UVALDE TEXAS SCHOOL MASS SHOOTING

A heinous mass shooting incident took lives of 14 students and one teacher at at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, as confirmed by Gov. Greg Abott

Mr. Abbott said the gunman was an 18 year old man from Uvalde.He was former student at Uvalde High School.He reportedly shot his grandmother before going to the Elementary School. The shooter abandoned his vehicle outside the elementary school, located around 80 miles west of San Antonio, and entered the school, carrying a handgun. The shooter is also dead.

Pete Arredondo, Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District’s chief of police, confirmed that the suspect was dead and said they believe he acted alone.  He said there were some deaths and several injuries, including adults and children.

Uvalde Memorial Hospital said 13 children arrived by ambulance or buses for treatment and two people arrived deceased. University Health, in San Antonio, said it had received two patients from the shooting, a child and an adult. The hospital said the adult was a 66-year-old woman in critical condition. The child, identified as a 10-year-old girl, was also in critical condition.

Two responding law officers were also shot but are expected to survive.
